Substrates
The 16000 series has excellent performance on the following substratesScreens
We recommend fabrics between 140 and 165 threads monofilament polyester for most applications.Emulsión
Resistant to solvents. Special attention with the thickness of the layer, since it has much influence in the definition and in the discharge of ink.Squeegees
Polyurethane 75-85 shores. Angle, cutting edge, pressure and off-contact are critical parameters that must be adjusted correctly for optimum performance.Performance
Between 70 and 85 square meters, depending on the ink layer.Printting
The 16000 series is formulated with optimum viscosity for use from the package. Mix before use. Keep stored at 10-25 ° C (50 ° F - 77 ° F). Low temperatures increase viscosity by preventing fluidity and curing and high temperatures decrease viscosity and reduce the definition, ink reservoir and covering power. UV inks are affected by light emissions in the working environment, take care of avoiding sunlight, or direct lamps in the environment. Keep the containers covered and avoid contaminating unused inks with which they are recovered from the machine. If it is necessary to lower the tones, use TERMOFLEX UV colorless base, and in no case mix the 16000 series with any products that are not recommended. If in doubt contact PINTESINT. The 16000 series was formulated specifically for thermoforming and is not recommended for prints on both sides, and special care must be taken when stacking, because despite having sufficient hardness, the printed layer must be kept soft and flexible to allow for the subsequent processing. We recommend stacking "standing" sheets in small quantities or reserving in dryers after curing. When printing is suspended for a few moments, it is convenient to leave the screen covered with ink as all thermoforming inks tend to dry on the screen.Curing
Ready to use. No curing accelerator or promoter is required under normal conditions. Keep in mind that the actual values for curing are not only given by the furnace conditions, but they influence the ink layer, its covering power and the material to be printed. When passing through the furnace, the reaction of the inks begins, which although they present a superficial drying will continue for a period of time their chemical reaction. Excess curing will reduce print flexibility and ink interlayer adhesion. Failure to cure will result in poor adherence, difficulty in stacking and increased residual odor. To properly test the adhesion, allow the substrate to cool completely, and remember that it will improve over time.Outdoor Exposure
The 16000 series is formulated with high quality pigments and excellent outdoor resistance when printing and curing conditions and limitations are adecuadas.La exterior durability can not be specified exactamente.La loss of color and brightness they are predictable and some variables that help is or are:Safety
Wear gloves or face cream to prevent direct contact. Wear safety glasses for splash, and security glasses with uv filters in the proximity of the curing oven. In case of contact with the skin, remove the ink with a clean, dry cloth and wash with plenty of soap and water. For more information request the corresponding safety data sheets.Important note
I. The inks formulated by Pintesint SAICyF must be used exclusively with the solvents and the complementary products that it manufactures for that purpose. Due to the diversity of products in the market, the company is not responsible for the use of the same from another source. II. The suggestions and data of this literature were elaborated in good faith, to guide the user. We recall the importance of checking the adaptability of inks and complementary products by testing before starting production. Due to the fact that the conditions of use of the products are not under our control, the present does not constitute a guarantee on the work to be done.
