It is a violet photosensitive emulsion to be sensitized with diazo or bichromate salts. It is characterized by its ease of copying.
Fields of Application
It is applied in printing with solvent based inks, plastisols and ultraviolet light curing ink.
Instructions for Use
It is supplied with its corresponding DZO / O diazo. It must be filled with water halfway, shaken until complete dissolution and complete the missing volume, verify the absence of lumps.
Incorporate the diazo solution into the emulsion by slowly mixing. Before application let the prepared mixture rest for at least an hour or more, allowing the release of built-in air bubbles.
When a more viscous and thick emulsion is required for thick fabric screens, dissolve the diazo with 50% of the volume of water (never less than half).
Tip: Filter Diazo's solution.
The already emulsified frame must be dried with hot air, without exceeding 40潞C. Once copied wash the frame with cold water and dry.
All this process must be performed under yellow or red light.
Exposure
The exposure time depends on the distance, film thickness, fabric color, lamp usage time, etc. With the use of white fabrics the time is reduced to half, with respect to colored fabrics.
Indicatively the value taken in our sunshine with a lamp (of 5000 watts) metal halogen with integrator to 1 meter of distance, with four hands of emulsion applied (2 external and 2 internal), on a cloth of 120 threads / cm of color and Using an "exposure calculator" the result is
50 light times (approximately 4 '30 ").
Recovery
After cleaning the ink and with the dry screen, apply EMULQUIT on both sides.
Allow it to act for 5 minutes, then rinse with water under pressure.
The use of a high-preassure cleaner machine is recommended.
It is not advisable that the permanence of the recovered product acted more than the indicated time, to avoid that when drying becomes difficult to recover.
Storage
Containers should be tightly closed. Store in a cool and dark place. Avoid temperatures above 35 掳 C. The duration of the sensitized emulsion is approximately 3 weeks if well preserved; After this time we recommend checking the copying capacity of the emulsion.
Tips and possible solutions
If the image does not develop or does it with some difficulty:
路 Very long exposure time.
路 Accidental exposure to white light before recording.
路 Very high drying temperature (do not exceed 40 掳 C).
If the emulsion leaves or falls from the fabric:
路 Increase exposure time.
路 Check that the emulsion is perfectly dry.
路 Sensitized emulsion for a long time.
路 Poorly sensitized emulsion.
路 Excessive ambient humidity.
Important note
I. The inks formulated by Pintesint SAICyF must be used exclusively with the solvents and the complementary products that it manufactures for that purpose. Due to the diversity of products in the market, the company is not responsible for the use of the same from another source.
II. The suggestions and data of this literature were elaborated in good faith, to guide the user. We recall the importance of checking the adaptability of inks and complementary products by testing before starting production. Due to the fact that the conditions of use of the products are not under our control, the present does not constitute a guarantee on the work to be done.
